WEYERHAEUSER ANNOUNCES 2012 HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE FOREST LEARNING CENTER

Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE:WY) today announced the 2012 hours of operation for the Charles W. Bingham Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens.

The Forest Learning Center will open its doors for the 2012 season on Friday, May 11. Hours of operation are from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on the days the Visitor Center is open. Admission is free to the general public.

Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) today reported net earnings of $41 million for the first quarter, or 8 cents per diluted share, on net sales of $1.5 billion. This compares with net earnings of $99 million on net sales from continuing operations of $1.4 billion for the same period last year.
